Sawadee! Welcome to the ‘Land of Smiles’.

A day well spent in Bangkok. Bangkok is colourful, turbulent, loud, bustling, chaoting and – utterly beautiful. A booming country is ruled from here. The King lives here and all large companies are based in this city.

A city filled with constant congestion, beggars and it also has a Red Light district, Skyscrapers, luxury hotels and shopping malls dominate the modern cityscape. The temples on the river are home to contemplative monks, soothsayers and healers.

Did you know that Chao Phraya is known as the ‘River of Kings’ due to its historical significance. It meanders through the city of Bangkok reflecting temples, palaces, high-rise buildings and luxury hotels in its waters.

What a spectacular skyline! An absolute culture shock. Spectacular offices towers rise high into the sky just a few metres from the banks. The Chao Phraya remains the most striking sight. The river divides Bangkok into two halves and is the only transport route that enables rapid progress in the city, because the metropolis is heading towards a collapse of its transport connections.

The impressive colour play of the world city of Bangkok is reinvented when the sun disappears from the horizon as the city comes alive with vibrant ever changing colours. Even the dirty corners of the city become a little more invisible. Every night Bangkok shines anew with millions of colourful lights that give Thailand’s capital a distinctive glow.

Visiting Bangkok, you will be astounded by the amazing natural landscape, unique culture, friendly locals, and a countless number of great attractions around the city. You will get to feel the city’s vibe and atmosphere. No matter how many times you’ve been, you’ll never get bored and there is always something new and exciting to see, do, and eat in Bangkok. You may want to spend a few days exploring everything the city offers.

Bangkok has always held a particular place in my heart. It was the first Asian city I’d ever seen, and it cast a spell on me from the first second.
