Good Day my Lovely Readers!
Let me start with a quote, ‘Creativity comes from looking for the unexpected and stepping outside your own experience’ – Masam Ibuka
As the novel coronavirus spreads, we are all facing questions about how to best protect and care for ourselves, and for others in a public health crisis.
Yes, World Health Crisis and it’s not a joke!!
The young generation and healthy may think they are unlikely to get sick or worse, to die, from this, according to experts they would be right. According to Statistics, the risk of fatality from Covid-19 increase. Numbers indicate population over 80 may have as much as 10 times the risk of dying as those in their 50s. But who knows right? A silent health war I would say.
Even for those who wouldn’t suffer there are consequences from infection which could still expose more vulnerable people to the disease. In the absence of a treatment, social distancing or limiting non-essential gatherings, is one way to slow the spread.
Governments from around the world have taken actions and restrictions which are already in place. Schools are closed, kids are staying home, employees working from home, boarders closed, flights cancelled, airlines stopped their operations and many more actions are now in place to reduce the risk.
What we owe to each other… Stay Home – Stay Safe
We need to focus on solutions not problems. What you focus on the longest becomes the strongest. The best way to deal with this pandemic challenge is to look for solutions. Spend your time being creative and resourceful. Worry is faith turned inside out, assuming the negative. It wastes your energy and does not solve anything. It paralyzes you, stifles your growth and robs you of your creativity.
Use your imagination to come up with a variety of ideas to keep yourself distant from social exposure. Challenge your self to think beyond that.
STAY HOME – STAY SAFE – BE CREATIVE
Social Distancing according to Fred Hutch has proven to be one of the most, if not the most effective ways to slow and lessen the impact of an epidemic like this.
Its all about cutting the chain of transmission. Not getting infected yourself and not infecting others.
